I mean, what's the point of releasing a game that's apparently too expensive? What's the point of releasing a game that doesn't really have any new features? What's the point of releasing a game that's apparently the ultimate farm/adventure/RPG? I'm asking you, aren't I? If the developers are reading this, while you're waiting for me to publish this famous open letter, you know what to do. Thirdly, I think I'm going to end up writing an open letter to the game's developers asking them to cancel their project and not release the game. To conclude on this point, in the various gameplay videos available, everyone confesses to having barely scratched the surface of the game's potential! Secondly, since I was asked, this game takes the BEST of all the games in the genre (Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, My Time At Portia, Fantasy Life, etc.) and combines them into a single game: a relatively advanced farming aspect, an RPG with all that that implies (combat, dungeons, crafting, jobs (yes, there's a Jobs tab if you've watched the various videos carefully), relationships (friendships or love affairs with marriage, etc.), decoration in the background, etc.).), decorations of all kinds (decorations that are USEFUL as well as being pretty (because they increase your stats!), magic with spells that are useful in all circumstances. Farm games that come out with a price tag of €20 to €40 are developed by INDEPENDENT studios that have FEW resources and do NOT have to pay a high price to make it profitable, whereas the studio developing Fae Farm is a BIG studio that has put in the resources to bring out an ambitious game and which, to be profitable, has to raise the price of the game. I've had enough of the incessant bashing!įirstly, you have to stop thinking that just because it's a farm game it's worth €20 or €40.
